Dog Training in The Hague, Amsterdam & Surroundings (English & German)

Hi! I’m Clara, a dog trainer specialised in behavioural issues such as anxiety, reactivity and hyperactivity. My goal is to find the root cause of your dog’s behaviour and work on that instead of simply “fixing” a symptom.

I also hold a MSc in (human) psychology. This background taught me that behaviour always has an underlying cause – for humans and dogs alike. After my studies, I began training as a canine behaviorist in Germany. Every trainer there is vetted by the veterinary office for their skill and knowledge, and I bring that rigorous certification to every dog-human team I work with.

A while back, I adopted my first dog from Spain – Keela. She came with ears bigger than her head, a broken hip and a suitcase full of behavioural issues. She wouldn’t walk outside, was scared of people and noises, resource guarding, reactive, hunting anything in sight and couldn’t be left alone longer than 2 minutes. She taught me what it means to build a bond and finally learn to trust again, but also set fair boundaries. Today, we are a team and regularly go on adventures together! This is exactly what I want for any dog owner out there too!
